Do you ever feel like…
- You’ve tried everything but nothing truly helps?
- Pain keeps hijacking your life, your mood, your sense of who you are?
- You’re scared it’s never going to get better?
- You feel powerless to change what you’re experiencing—no matter how hard you try?

You’re not alone. And it's not your fault.
Most of us were only ever taught these three ways to react to pain: to fight it, fix it, or make it go away.
But what if your pain isn’t an enemy to defeat…What if it’s a messenger that’s been waiting to be heard?
This workshop series is about changing the way you relate to pain and suffering.
Reframe Pain invites you to explore a different perspective on pain that asks what pain is really trying to communicate—and possibly even experience how understanding this question can ease both physical and emotional suffering.

You’ll learn how to:
📌Shift from “Why is this happening to me?” to “What is my body trying to tell me?”
📌Separate pain (the body’s signal) from suffering (the mind’s story around it).
📌Work with your nervous system instead of fighting against it.
📌Build tools for safety, self-understanding, and trust in your body’s wisdom.
📌Gently rewire your relationship to pain through awareness, breath, and reflection.
Reframe Pain is not about making pain go away because that’s not something we have control over.
It’s about discovering a new way of being with it—so it can transform yourself in the healing process.

JENNA SCHAUER

Jenna is a physical therapist, yoga teacher, meditation facilitator, and perpetually curious human with a passion for understanding the complexities of pain and its impact on the mind-body system. Her exploration of pain science led her to the path of yoga, connecting her to study with Twyla. Integrating yogic principles into her practice transformed how she works with others.
Bridging the scientific and spiritual worlds, Jenna’s approach weaves evidence-based practice with ancient wisdom to create a cohesive and empowering perspective on healing. She believes knowledge is power and aims to shift the negative perception many hold around pain.
Currently living a semi-nomadic life, Jenna divides her time between practicing as a physical therapist in Colorado and traveling internationally to teach yoga, host workshops, write, and build community. Guided by curiosity, courage, and compassion, she continues to follow a path that allows her to live and share her values wherever she goes.

TWYLA GINGRICH
As owner of Samya Yoga Healing, Twyla has been supporting women on their healing and growth journey for 20 years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Addiction Counselor, and Experienced Yoga and Meditation teacher. Her title of Mind Coach allows her to support women who are stuck in emotional reactions to let go, find their voice, and move through conflict confidently.
Twyla's natural tendency to support others and build positive communities began at a young age. She learned quickly that in order to do this work effectively, she has to ‘walk the walk’ every day. Knowing the struggles within the process of self-development first hand is one of her strengths. There is no greater joy for Twyla than to witness the transformation of women stepping into their power.
She is grateful for the path of Yoga and the gracious wisdom of her teacher, Prasad Rangnekar.
